About DC Diamond Circulate
DC Diamond Circulate, Inc., incorporated February 8, 2006, in Washington DC as a not-for-profit --501(c)(3). DC Diamond Circulate seeks to support square dance as a beneficial social and cultural activity; we do this by hosting regular dance events, raising the profile of square dancing with public performances, demonstrations and introductory events, teaching square dancing and square dance calling. We plan particularly to host a very large square dance convention (1000+ dancers!) in Washington DC in 2009 which supports all of these goals.
The corporation currently has three board officers:
- President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
All board positions are volunteer, non-compensated roles.
